Welcome to Coop Companion, provided by Poultry Pal LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our mobile application, Coop Companion (the “App”), and related services. By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Coop Companion.
Coop Companion is rated 4+ in the App Store, but it is not specifically marketed to children.
2. Accounts and Registration
You may be required to create an account to access certain features.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information, including your first and last name, email address, and password.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. User Content
You may upload content (e.g., chicken photos, notes, health data) to the App.
You retain ownership of any content you submit.
By uploading, you grant Poultry Pal LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely for providing App functionality.
You may delete your content or account at any time (see Privacy Policy for data deletion).
4. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
Upload unlawful, abusive, or infringing content.
Use the App for commercial advertising or spam.
Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or misuse Coop Companion.
Misrepresent information about yourself or use another person’s account.
5. Payments and Subscriptions
Coop Companion may be offered as a paid app or with optional in-app purchases/subscriptions.
All payments are processed securely through Apple’s App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit or debit card information.
Subscriptions (if applicable) renew automatically unless canceled through your App Store account settings before the renewal date.
Refunds are handled in accordance with Apple’s App Store policies.
6. Disclaimer of Veterinary Advice
Coop Companion provides informational and educational tools only.
We are not licensed veterinarians, and the App does not provide professional veterinary care, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always consult a qualified veterinarian for concerns about your chickens’ health.
Use of the App is at your own risk.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Poultry Pal LLC is not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries resulting from your use of the App, including reliance on AI breed/gender detection or health suggestions. The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
You may delete your account at any time in the App’s Settings → Privacy → Delete Account.
9. Intellectual Property
Coop Companion, including its design, branding, AI features, and code, is the property of Poultry Pal LLC.
You may not copy, distribute, or modify the App without our permission.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted in the App or on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
